We were just looking through some of our photos and wanted to share these pictures from Hawaii. Looking at them made us want to go back and relax on the beach. However, if you know us we wouldn't be doing much relaxing because I usually drag us all over the place on random walks. By the time we are done with our vacation we need a vacation from our vacation.

Last weekend we visted our friend up near Yreka, and she took us on a little scenic tour of the Scott River. We had fun exploring and discovered new places she hadn't even been. The pictures from this area near the river are our favorites. The rock formations are very unique and make for interesting photographs. We were even discussing the possiblities of a future engagement portrait session for her there!

Colts and Kids on Easter

Here are a few pictures that we took on Easter. We were at our brother-in-law's cousin's horse ranch near Placerville. Their horses had recently had two colts, and they were expecting two more soon. We had a great time taking photos of the colts and candid portraits of the kids. It is always fun taking pictures of kids because, for the most part, they are more oblivious to the camera than adults, and you are able to get more natural poses.

Ashleigh's Portrait Session in San Luis Obispo

We had a great time shooting these portraits of Ashleigh a few weeks ago in downtown San Luis Obispo and along Montaña de Oro Beach. We had scouted out spots for the photographs the day before, and the wind had been very blustery. Luckily, when we were shooting the portraits of Ashleigh the next morning, the wind was much more cooperative!

Welcome to the Drozian Photoworks' blog. We photograph just about everything that people do, including wedding photography, reception pictures, portrait photography, high school senior portraits, family portraits, quinciñeras, graduations and events. We love to photograph all the things the world has to offer, from the everyday adventures of children and pets to the exciting ways in which people experience life and beyond to those momentous occasions that define who people become.

Our goal is to capture the full spectrum of our clients' memories, starting with the small details that compose our world to grand scale of the events that surround us. We strive to do so in a way that is fun and beautiful, combining both art and photojournalism to bring out the life in our subjects. Our method is to move past the boundaries of traditional photography and into the realm of poses and candids that highlight who you are as a person. Everyone that we meet is unique, and so we approach each session with an eye for capturing that individuality.

We are based in the Northern California and primarily serve the areas of Chico, Red Bluff, and Redding, CA, but we are happy to make arrangements for sessions and events outside of our area as well. We often travel to Sacramento, San Francisco, the Bay Area, and beyond. The world is a great place to explore and our cameras go everywhere with us.

Thanks for visiting our blog. Please check out our website and feel free to contact us if we can help you with your photographic needs.
