New Orleans Workshop: Mike Colon

We attended a few workshops over the course of our New Orleans conference! This workshop, put on by Mike Colon , was one of my favorites. We had four fantastic models to works with. I got the chance to work with Amber Collins, Jessica Granger, and Sydney Fincher! The girls were amazing. This workshop was different from the others because we were split into smaller groups, and we each got the chance to work as the lead photographer to direct the model and be in the front of the pack. Here are a few of my favorites, and even more are posted on our facebook page!

Brynn and Ryan Engagement

Here are a few of our favorites from our session with Brynn and Ryan in downtown Cottonwood, CA. We just love the little shops and all the cute doors. The color of Brynn's sweater went perfectly with the setting and the fall colors, and her little buttons were so cute. She told us that it had taken many shopping trips to find that sweater. We asked Ryan how many shopping trips he had to make. He said that his clothes just showed up and Brynn informed him that he was wearing them to the engagement session. Just the way it should be! We really wanted to get some of the fall colors in our pictures. The only fall colors were at the tiny park at the end of the downtown, but we managed and you can't really tell how small the park is. We can't wait for Brynn and Ryan's wedding next June in Redding, California at a private residence on the Sacramento River!

New Orleans

We recently attended Pictage PartnerCon in New Orleans! The seminars and hands-on workshops were fantastic! Thank you Pictage for sponsoring this great event. The workshops were held over three days, and we added a few days for travel and sightseeing. Below are a few pictures of our sightseeing, and, as always, I dragged Dusty around everywhere on lots of random walks that I always find in our DK guides. These pictures are from the French Quarter, the Garden District, and our day trips to the bayou and a few of the plantations. We will be posting more photos from around New Orleans on our facebook soon, as well as pictures from the hands-on workshops that we attended.
