Sneak Peek: Crystal and James - Engagement Pictures

Here's a sneak peek of some the pictures from engagement session with Crystal and James last weekend. They live down in Manteca, but decided to come to Chico to go to some of Crystal's favorite locales from her school days. We crawled all over 1 Mile at Bidwell Park looking for cool spots and even braved some steep embankments next to the creek so we could capture them in the perfect reflection off of the water. After that we headed over to Sierra Nevada Brewery for some pictures at the tap room. We had a lot of fun taking their portraits and can't wait for their wedding next October at Lake Tahoe!

Sneak Peek: June Gentry

June was such a natural at posing, and she made our job so easy! You wouldn't know it by looking at the pictures, but it was extremly cold that day, so thank you, June, for putting up with us taking a ton of pictures in 40 degree weather. We all really loved the patch of leaves that we found on Chico State's campus! I absolutley love how there was a mixture of colors, shapes and sizes, and of course June looked amazing laying in them!

Brianna and Wade Siddoway

Brianna was one of our best friends at Red Bluff High School so it was so much fun taking her and her husband's pictures. We really had a great time getting to know her husband, Wade. Since they live in Utah we really have only seen them a few times since we graduated from high school. We will definitly need to go to Utah sometime and do another photo session there!

Engle Family Portraits

It was fun taking family portraits for the Engle family last weekend. The wind was really picking up during the session but luckily we managed to capture several pictures with their hair out of their faces. Believe me it was a tremendous feat! We took several pictures of Griffin playing in his Grandma's leaves before we headed over to Diamond Park in Red Bluff. It was great having a little model just sitting there trying to eat the leaves while his big sister ran circles around him. Aizlyn had so much energy and seemed to get even more once we arrived at the park. It was so cute, once we were getting ready to leave, Aizlyn thanked us for coming and taking their pictures.

Grady Family Portaits

We had a great time taking family portraits of the Grady family last weekend. It was great fall weather for taking portraits except for the blustery wind. Luckily we were able to find a little cove in the trees that did a fairly good job of blocking it! William was so helpful rounding up his little sister Claire and trying to make her follow our directions. We also learned that telling little kids to look up at the camera is not that easy. They tend to look up with their whole bodies instead of just their faces or eyes. It does, however, make for some hilarious pictures! William also liked to strike a pose for us when it suited him and then have us show him it on the camera.
